To introduce the community to their new location, Everest Recovery Centers held an Open House and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Thursday, August 29 at the new facility, located at 14 Chestnut Place Ludlow, Massachusetts. Everest Recovery looks forward to improving access to opioid addiction treatment services in Hampden County. This is Everest Recovery’s first location in the State of Massachusetts and third clinic overall.
“My goal is that our treatment centers are a place I would want to send a family member of mine, if they were suffering from this disease,” said Peter Morris, co-founder and CEO of Everest Recovery. “We pride ourselves in being a company that provides quality treatment and same day treatment for our patients. We look forward to working with the Ludlow community.”
Everest has focused on establishing services in under-served areas and believes Ludlow will provide relief for many Massachusetts residents who currently travel to major metropolitan areas to get services. “We’re really excited to be here. BSAS (Bureau of Substance Addiction Services) put out a study that the average person who lives in Ludlow travels 11 miles to get services, so we feel that this is something that will be great for the community,” said Gary Frankowski, Program Director for the Ludlow clinic.
In 2023, there were 2125 fatal opioid-related overdoses in Massachusetts. Hampden County accounted for 231 of those deaths.
