Our Team

Peter F. Morris
Co-Founder/CEO

Peter is the Co-Founder/CEO of Everest Recovery. He always had the vision of turning his 30 plus years of experience in the opioid use disorder treatment field into starting a business of his own where the focus would be “a place that I would want to send my family member to if they were suffering from this disease”.  Peter oversaw a large network of opioid use disorder treatment clinics prior to starting Everest Recovery. He was a 2017 invited guest to an Opioid Round Table hosted at the White House by First Lady Melania Trump, a 2013 & 2015 presenter at the AATOD Conference, a 2013 panelist at the SAMHSA conference and served on the NABH Addiction Committee.

His background and education in accounting led him to his first job out of college in this field and one he never left. Peter worked for a multi-state treatment provider for 22 plus years before that organization was acquired which led to him moving to Nashville, Tennessee and now Ponte Vedra, Florida where he currently resides with his wife Heather and two daughters Ava and Sophie. Peter enjoys spending time with his family, driving through the beachside towns of Florida in his Jeep and golfing when he is not busy focusing on the patients and mission of Everest Recovery. He remains an avid New England sports fan and enjoys country music.

David L. Piccoli II
Co-Founder

David L Piccoli II is Co-Founder of Everest Recovery Centers. He has spent the past 30 years building a network of outpatient recovery clinics as well as a healthcare technology business.  After selling both businesses in the past 8 years, it was not David’s intention to get back into the same business, but the stars aligned, and the very best team was eager to do it again. So, David decided, “Who was he to get in the way!” Instead, David invested in the team and the vision.

David has always believed that the key to past success was to focus on the Patients, the Team, and the Shareholders, in that order. These priorities provide clarity to the team, so they can make the best decisions possible that support our patient’s recovery. David’s role is simple… Build a great team, provide the funds, and then get out of the way!

With all of David’s business success, he’s always regarded his family as his most important achievement. It starts with his wife, Gilda, and his 4 kids, Koral, Tyde, Orabel and Orrin.  They are the cornerstones to his success!  Spending as much time with his family and friends, skiing, golfing, boating, and breaking bread are the simple things that David enjoys the most!
