Our Team

David L Piccoli II is Executive Chairman of Everest Recovery Centers. He has spent the past 30 years building a network of outpatient recovery clinics as well as a healthcare technology business.  After selling both businesses in the past 8 years, it was not David’s intention to get back into the same business, but the stars aligned, and the very best team was eager to do it again. So, David decided, “Who was he to get in the way!” Instead, David invested in the team and the vision. 

David has always believed that the key to past success was to focus on the Patients, the Team, and the Shareholders, in that order. These priorities provide clarity to the team, so they can make the best decisions possible that support our patient’s recovery. David’s role is simple… Build a great team, provide the funds, and then get out of the way!

With all of David’s business success, he’s always regarded his family as his most important achievement. It starts with his wife, Gilda, and his 4 kids, Koral, Tyde, Orabel and Orrin.  They are the cornerstones to his success!  Spending as much time with his family and friends, skiing, golfing, boating, and breaking bread are the simple things that David enjoys the most!

Heather L. Camara is the Chief Executive Officer of Everest Recovery Centers, bringing over two decades of financial and operational leadership in the opioid treatment program (OTP) industry. Known for her strategic mindset and deep industry expertise, she is focused on driving growth, enhancing patient care, and strengthening organizational performance.

Heather joined Everest in 2021 as Head of Finance Operations, where she led financial strategy, revenue cycle management, and insurance contracting. Her career began in 2005 in outpatient substance use treatment, where she quickly advanced into leadership roles, including Director of Finance, supporting organizational expansion and new service development. She later served as Vice President of Operations and Finance for a leading electronic health record company in the OTP space.

Heather holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Rhode Island College. She enjoys spending time with her husband and son, traveling, cheering on youth soccer, and a good game of cribbage.

Dr. Neal Lakrtiz joined Everest Recovery in October 2025 and serves as both Corporate Medical Director and the Medical Director of our Ludlow, MA clinic. He recently retired from his medical office practice after 42 rewarding years of providing primary care to his patients. He now has more time to devote to treating substance use disorders, a field he has found truly meaningful for the past 20 years through both his primary practice and outpatient clinic work.

Dr. Lakritz values the opportunity to understand each patient’s unique story and partners closely with them to improve their health, well-being, and personal goals. His approach emphasizes compassion, respect, and individualized care.

Dr. Lakritz is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Addiction Medicine. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Mental Health Association and is a past President of the Hebrew Free Loan Association of Greater Springfield.

He especially enjoys spending time with his life partner, three children and four young grandchildren.

Ashley brings nearly 20 years of accounting management and payroll experience to the organization.  Ashley joined the Finance Operations team at Everest Recovery in the summer of 2024.  Her role focuses on the financial statements and the organization’s payroll.

Ashley enjoys traveling, beach days and spending time with her husband and shih-tzu.

Lindsey started working in the Opioid treatment field in 2005, where she had multiple roles in the clinic setting over the years, including Administrative Assistant and Program Manager of a large Opioid Treatment clinic. She joined the Everest Recovery Team in July 2021 as Administrative Assistant for the flagship Saco location, helping to get the clinic ready to go for first admission. In April 2023, Lindsey was promoted to her current position as Revenue Cycle Administrator as part of the home office team. She has a key role in the billing and accounting infrastructure of Everest that is vital to the expansion of the organization. Lindsey is learning more each day and is excited by the challenges that come with the Everest’s growth.

Lindsey resides in Maine with her husband Shaun and their teenage son Colton. She enjoys watching all sporting events, whether it be her son’s soccer games or professional sports. Her favorite night would include a comedy show and dinner with her husband. They have seen many of many of their favorites and are always looking for new shows to see. In her downtime, you will always find Lindsey with her kindle, which she never leaves home without.
